I met her through chatting online, with noisy dial-up modems. She was in the girls’ branch of my school which was famous for all the pretty girls studying there. We thereafter met at our tuition classes and I, being quite a traditionalist, proposed to her within a week of my meeting her. She went into a university and I could not get admission there. And in fact, I feel that one of the main reasons for me not to get grades in college was that I spent half the years of my college years in her college, so much so that her chaukidars thought I was from her college. Post college, we got married. She has recently started her own clothing line called ‘Silk by Fawad Khan’ that is doing pretty well and I take pride in her work. Who do you love the most in the world? My wife. She is my Rock of Gibraltar and my anchor. I have known her for so long but she is still my companion, my lover, my best friend, my everything. She understands me the most. Even in my rebellious phase, when I was most vulnerable, she would listen to me and understand me. What makes her the most attractive person for me is that she is very genuine. I find nothing fake about her. She is not pretentious and is very honest. She too knows that if she is having a difficult time, I am there for her. When you love someone you don’t actually know what you love, but I do know that I can’t manage my life without her. According to Fawad, his better half Sadaf understands quite clearly how his on-screen portrayal is nothing but a temporary character whilst their marriage is the real deal. The singer cum actor also said that he knew his wife had been his support since day one, when he wasn’t famous or well known. Sadaf’s been with me through thick and thin.” he said. “She was there at the first screening of Khoobsurat and she was laughing along with Sonam and me when we posed for a somewhat steamy shoot.We both understand that how I act on-screen isn’t real while our relationship truly is,” However, the Khoobsurat star also revealed that there came a point when Sadaf was annoyed at Fawad’s heartthrob image and the attitude of female fans, who thronged the chocolate hero everywhere he went. “I can’t say Sadaf didn’t get annoyed by the female attention I was getting — anybody would.
